Can fruit make you fat???
Obesity is an epidemic in this country. I just read a statistic
that said in the year 2030 half the the population in the US
will be obese. Currently 1/3 of the population is obese
and 1/3 are over weight.

How to fix your allergies
Laser bio-feedback treatment is new to the US, but has been used in Europe and Australia for a couple of years already. Although it is new for allergy treatment, bio-feedback has been used for many years; biofeedback is the process of becoming aware of various physiological functions using instruments that provide information on the activity of those same systems, with a goal of being able to manipulate them at will. Biofeedback has been used to improve health or performance and the physiological changes often occur in conjunction with changes to thoughts, emotions and behavior. Eventually the changes will be maintained without the use of the extra equipment. Essentially, you’re re-training the body to function a different way, in this case the purpose is to re-train the body NOT to react to allergies.
Seasonal allergies affect more than 35 million Americans each year and the symptoms will be sneezing, wheezing, runny nose and itchy, watery, red eyes. These reactions occur, because your body is reacting to these harmless molecules of pollen just as they would a foreign invader like a common cold.
Your body will produce antibodies just like it would for any foreign threat, and these antibodies will attach themselves to mast cells, which contain a variety of substances, including histamines. Histamines circulate in the body causing many of the symptoms associated with an allergic reaction, affecting the nose, lungs, throat, skin and digestive tract. These reactions will depend on the allergen (eg pollen, peanut). Some of these symptoms develop within minutes while others appear after hours. These symptoms are your body trying to prevent the foreign invader from entering your body as well as expelling the ones that have already entered your body.
This is your immune system trying to defend itself and it gets “hard-wired ” to respond faster and harder the next time this foreign invader comes around. Unfortunately in this case your body is over-reacting to a harmless piece of pollen. That is why some people describe this as your immune system over-reacting by producing antibodies and releasing histamines each time your body encounters the piece of pollen.
Although relief is drugstore counter away, many are getting tired of side effects which may include: drowsiness, impaired thinking ability, increased appetite, decreased sex drive, depression, anxiety, altered taste/smell and possible infertility issues.
These medications stop the histamine reaction and treat other symptoms and work well for some. Some have also found success with the previously controversial immuno-therapy with allergy shots. This works by “desensitizing” your body to the allergy, and works well for some, but not all. It wasn’t too long ago that this form of allergy treatment was viewed as alternative and was considered by some as a form of quackery, but now it is widely accepted and covered by most insurance carriers.
Laser bio-feedback is in its early stages, and will hopefully be widely accepted in the near future like other allergy treatments. Treatment is focused on working on the nervous system and not the antibodies or immune system like other therapies. Remember, the nervous system is the master controller of the entire body. The machine uses digital versions of different allergens (eg Bermuda grass) and exposes them to your skin while measuring how your body reacts to those different allergens. The machine is able to use digital versions of the allergens because every substance on the planet will have a specific harmonic frequency and these will be able to mimic the different allergens.
Once the reaction is identified, the computer can stimulate the allergen again while using an induction laser on the nerve bundles in the ear (on acupuncture points) and along the brainstem and spinal cord to re-train your nervous system not to react to those allergens. An induction laser merely transmits information, so it is the computer communicating with your nervous system and it is telling your body not perceive the piece of pollen or grass in this case as a foreign invader.
Since this is a digital stimulation of the allergen, it will not be to the same effect as a real allergy encounter so there is no risk of having an anaphylactic shock, but some people will get some flushing and post nasal drip after the treatment which is actually a sign that it is working. Aside from that, there are no other side effects or major risks. Larger clinical studies are underway, but data from other clinics around the country have shown 4 out of 5 people to become symptom free after the treatments. The number of treatments varies from individual to individual but it does take several treatments in most cases to re-train your body. This is a small price to pay for many who have suffered for a lifetime.

The FDA wants to ban vitamin sales again??
It looks like the FDA and Big Pharma are
at it again. They have convinced some
congress men and women that it's
unsafe for you to buy a multi-vitamin.
They tried to ban natural vitamins last
year, and they're trying again this year under
a different approach.
What they're doing is trying to regulate the
vitamin industry the same as the drug industry.
They want to raise the cost of your vitamins
about 3000-10,000% because of all the new
regulations.
Insurance doesn't pay for vitamins or herbs
and the majority of people can't pay $5-$50
per tablet. This will ruin the industry with
little mark up.

I’m Proud Of My High Cholesterol
Cholesterol does not cause heart disease. Cholesterol is what heart disease acts upon.
Cholesterol is a good thing. The more you have, the longer you’ll live.
In fact, the prestigious medical journal The Lancet did a study that looked at 724 people and followed them for 10 years. Researchers found that higher cholesterol meant a lower chance of dying from any cause.1
Cholesterol is a part of your body, and it’s a bad idea to declare war on a part of your body.
Unfortunately, many people who rely on mainstream medicine for health information haven’t gotten the message.
The way modern medicine treats cholesterol is the same as saying, “You have Alzheimer’s disease, let’s cut off your head.” It’s like if you come to me to have your bone mineral density measured, and I say, “We’ve found a problem with your bones. We have to take them out.”
You treat the problem, not the part of your anatomy that the problem is affecting. But that’s what we’ve done with cholesterol. Because it’s diseased doesn’t mean you want to get rid of it. You want to get rid of the disease.
All things being equal, the more cholesterol you have the better. A study from the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale University found that elders with low cholesterol died twice as often from a heart attack as did elders with high cholesterol.2
Cholesterol is a normal and important part of your anatomy. You need your cholesterol. It becomes diseased because there are unnatural inflammatory and oxidative pressures that are distorting it and causing it to be diseased.
Cholesterol isn’t the bad guy. It’s the oxidation and inflammation that are the bad guys.
And you don’t remove the part of your body that the bad guys are acting on.
The solution I use with my patients who have inflammation is to try and get their HDL to be as high as half of their triglycerides.
There’s no evidence that high cholesterol increases heart risk if your HDL is at least half your triglycerides.
If you can make your HDL higher than your triglycerides, that’s even better.
My HDL is twice as high as my triglycerides, and I’m proud of my high cholesterol.
A pretty good HDL level is about 45. And we want your triglycerides to be below 150, normally. But if you can get your triglycerides down to 100, and your HDL up to 50, then it doesn’t matter what your total cholesterol is. There is no risk.
In my case, I actually had my HDL at twice my triglycerides.
Here’s how I got my triglycerides down to 50 and I got my HDL up to105, and you can, too:
Step 1) Use my four secrets and be proud of your high cholesterol:
I ate a whole bunch of garlic (IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE TASTE OF THAT, YOU COULD USE GARLIC-X. IT GIVES YOU ALL THE BENEFIT, WITHOUT THE STINK OR THE BURN). A decade worth of studies prove garlic significantly lowers triglycerides while raising HDL. With so much evidence, you’d think modern medicine would stop ignoring garlic’s benefits and start recommending at least two cloves a day.
I ate even more. I put it in my omelet for breakfast. I used garlic and olive oil dressing on a chicken salad or fish salad I would have for lunch most days. In the evening I would use garlic in a side dish like stir-fry vegetables.
And you know the odor that garlic produces? Your body tends to handle it better with time. It comes from the sulfur, but your body gets better at processing it. I only noticed a garlic odor at the beginning and after a few days it went away.
I took 2 grams of of Biotics niacin every day. Niacin can raise HDL by 15 to 35 percent. This makes niacin, a simple B vitamin, more effective than any cholesterol drug ever invented.
I took 1 tablespoon of Biomega3. It’s one of the richest sources of omega-3 on earth, and the more omega-3 you get, the lower your triglycerides will be. A new study gave people 3 grams of omega-3 a day, and lowered their triglycerides by 27%.3 There are 15 grams of omega-3 in a tablespoon of cod liver oil.
Studies also show that triglycerides weaken HDL, and stop it from having its full protective effect on your heart.4 That makes omega-3 HDL’s best friend. And taking it is simple and easy. It doesn’t have the fishy taste it did when your grandmother may have forced you to take it years ago. My cod liver oil has a clean lemon-lime flavor.
I worked out with High Intensity Intervals, because intense, short periods of exertion will boost HDL. For example, one study looked at Navy personnel going through intense training and after only 5 days, their HDL had increased 31%.5
Step 2) Eat low-glycemic foods to drive down your triglycerides.
A good idea I use with my patients – and it’s the way I eat, too – is to stick with low-glycemic foods, which can really get your triglycerides way under 150.
Here’s how it works…
Usually, insulin helps you convert triglycerides into energy. When you constantly eat starchy grains or sugary food, your body produces lots of insulin to try to process all the blood sugar. Over time, you become resistant to the effects of all that insulin, and you don’t convert triglycerides into energy. They stay in your blood.
A new review from the Framingham Heart Study followed almost 3,000 people for 14 years. Those who were more insulin resistant had higher triglycerides and lower HDL.6
To raise HDL and lower triglycerides, I have my patients stay away from carbs that come from grains, refined sugars and processed foods. I also have them avoid trans-fats, caffeine and high fructose corn syrup, which all increase insulin resistance.
Instead, I have them eat mostly protein from animals. Animal protein has zero effect on your blood sugar. It also raises your insulin sensitivity and lowers your triglyceride levels.
One incredible study on the effect of eating protein instead of carbs is from the Southern Medical Journal. They gave people foods consisting mostly of beef and beef fat. They ate no sugars, milk, or grains. Their triglyceride levels dropped 35%, while their percentage of HDL jumped 50%.7

As you can see from the chart to the right, high glycemic-index foods make your blood sugar go wild, and can even cause you to have a low blood sugar “crash.”
Eating low-GI foods stabilizes your blood sugar. This makes your insulin work better, keeping your triglycerides low, and your HDL high.

How to make a baby...
Now that I'm a parent, I can truly say that having children
is a true blessing. After going through what we did, I have
a real appreciation of children.

After 3 months of treatment, we conceived Leo.
We saved a lot of heartache and about 20-30 thousand
for specialized infertility treatment that has a low
success rate.
